We have a plan!

The RV trip to my Nephew Tyson’s wedding in Utah (September 20th) has gone through a LOT of revisions.  Starting off as a well planned combination vacation/wedding trip it changed into a longer trip that included the wedding but extended the vacation on to Florida.  We have always gone to Florida during the fall-winter so this seemed like a great solution.  RV parks all planned out, several days in the Utah desert, another few days in the Appalachians and Great Smokey Mountains (that’s probably the same place, huh?)  Finally, on to Florida with a few stops in places of interest – we’re all set!  Now, we start looking at dates and realize that we are the coordinators for the Railroad Days Parade in Granite Falls on the first weekend in October.  We have to come back to Washington right after the wedding!  Into the trash with the newly planned Florida route and start over – again.

We found that by scheduling some of the sight seeing events BEFORE the wedding and  blasting home in two days we could do both.  The only real change was Colorado Springs which was supposed to be our first stop on the way to Florida.  It is now our last stop before the Utah location from which we will go to the wedding and the Arches National Park.  And we moved our departure date up a few days.  Basically, it is Yellowstone, Fort Collins (my twin sister, Susan), Colorado Springs, Utah for the wedding and Arches National Park then home.  You can see all the exact details in the Tyson’s Wedding Post HERE.

As we start to travel I will try to post information and pictures here so you can keep track of us or even take a vicarious vacation.  If you think you might be even remotely interested in reading about our travels you can subscribe to the blog HERE (or on the link to the left of the blog page), and the posts will  be delivered to your e-mail.  You can opt out any time if they get  boring.
